What's your favourite chess software and why?
Shredder for the iPhone is now my favourite chess program.
You can't beat the portability, I love the user interface and the auto-level is just about right. Maybe a little on the easy side sometimes, but it does seem to play somewhat like a human opponent.
It's also remarkably cheap considering what you get.
